Custom Covers

Custom covers are regularly made at Inland Tarp & Cover, Inc for all kinds of applications. We have done fumigation covers, cable roll covers, wind tower covers, bin covers, box covers, machinery covers of all kinds, ground covers, mesh shade covers, building and shelter covers. Just about any custom cover you could imagine.  When a customer calls us looking for a custom cover, we take the time to match the materials to the application and usually come up with a custom cover that is superior to what has been used before.

Time and time again customers compliment us on the superior tarps and custom covers produced by Inland Tarp & Cover, Inc.  Whether you are a five star resort like the Couer d' Alene Resort in Idaho, an industrial account like CXT Company, a major contractor like Bechtel, or a farmer in Wyoming, we work with you to develop a custom cover that "more than" satisfies the need.

You know with Inland Tarp you are getting a cover that is produced with high quality 1.5" welds that are tested by one of our full time QA persons. Welds may be produced with hot air or precision wedge welders.  Pockets can be welded down the length of the custom cover. The cover may be sewn with a single, double or four needle hemmed edge with double bonded polyester 138 thread....industrial duty for industrial applications.  One or two flaps may be welded or sewn on the custom cover.  There really are an amazing number of options we can provide with custom covers.

Case in point:  a wind tower manufacturer contacted us and asked if we could produce hundreds of circular covers with grommets spaced at close intervals.  These custom covers would be used to close off the ends of the tower sections while traveling at highway speeds.  We came up with a PE custom cover that meets their expectations.  It has become a popular item.

Another case: APHIS, the Animal Plant Health Inspection Service of the US Government contacted us to help develop a fumigation process to allow farmers in Washington state to keep shipping hay into Canada. Within one week we were custom installing covers on grass hay piles and hay was once again moving into Canada.  A few months later, the fumigation requirement was lifted.
